We have an exciting opportunity for a Marine/QSHE Assistant to join a global shipping line based in their stunning offices in the heart of the City. If you have and understanding of liquid cargo shipment (LNG) and vessel navigation marine/maritime (not SAT nav), then we’d love to hear from you!

Reporting to the Marine and QSHE Manager the role entails:

  • Carry out general administration duties when required, these include picking up mail; covering incoming telephone calls; attending to visitors; arranging meeting rooms, copying documents – for Marine and QSHE
  • Update Weekly Marine team schedule in L-drive Marine team folder.
  • Update / draft Weekly Marine / QSHE team notes (e-mail) for fleet circulation.
  • Assist in planning Internal & External Navigation Audits.
  • Update Audit / Ship visit record (Plan / Actual), for Marine and QSHE
  • Assist Marine team personnel for business travel.
  • Assist preparing / recording of vessel’s Compatibility documents and update / recording of vessel’s Port of call history records.
  • Assist analysis/recording of vessel’s Navigational / Cargo equipments defect history and related documents reported from fleets.
  • Assist arranging L- drive folders and outlook folders of Marine and QSHE.
  • Assist creating Purchase orders for Marine team related matter, such as AVCS/ Paper charts order.
  • Assist OMS (Outfit Management service) update work with fleets master on demand basis.
  • Assist summarizing Marine team related purchasing items cost monthly basis.
  • Update OCIMF website HVPQ of our fleets on demand basis.
  • Creating, managing and updating efficient filing system for both electric and hard copy files for Marine and QSHE.
  • Compiling quarterly HSE data for external parties
  • Taking minutes in meetings, including weekly and Management review meetings (qtrly)
  • Updating HSE records (including SIRE results, incident reports, KPI’s)
  • Circulating Safety minutes and updating records
  • Printing out and filing security plans
  • Emergency room set-up
  • Upkeep of company training records
  • Other matters, which may include projects, within their competence.


This permanent position is paying a salary of £22,000 plus excellent benefits, please apply for more information.
