They are looking for an experienced, driven and pro-active Logistics Manager to join their team to lead their logistics arm as they continue to grow globally. The role is very fast paced and your ultimate goal is to ensure a highly efficient logistics and supply chain is in place to support their growth.

Job Purpose

Ensure the Logistics and Supply Chain are maximised for a growing, international business. Make proposals on how to ensure the logistics best support the business and its partners over the next five years of growth.

  • Able to see the bigger picture.

  • Able to work under pressure, stick to deadlines and meet KPI’s.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and to effectively prioritise.
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal – you will be the key bridge between a variety of people.

Required skills

  • Previous experience of logistics within an international business and delivering an improved supply chain during that growth period.
  • Good understanding of forwarders and global trade.

  • Knowledge and experience of global export and import logistics.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Outlook.
