We have an exciting new career opportunity with a forward thinking retail/wholesaler global company – with offices in London, New York and Shanghai, selling over 1000 products all over the world. They are looking for an experienced, driven and pro-active Logistics Manager to join their team to lead their logistics arm as they continue to grow globally. The role is very fast paced and your ultimate goal is to ensure a highly efficient logistics and supply chain is in place to support their growth.

Job Purpose

Ensure the Logistics and Supply Chain are maximised for a growing, international business. Achieve cost-effective, on time delivery of all import and export movements worldwide; continuously re-assessing the most efficient and cost-effective logistic solutions. Make proposals on how to ensure the logistics best support the business and its partners over the next five years of growth.

Required skills

  • Previous experience of logistics within an international business and delivering an improved supply chain during that growth period.
  • Good understanding of forwarders and global trade.
  • Experience of working with factories in China and Europe.
  • Experience of B2C and B2B business models.
  • Knowledge and experience of global export and import logistics.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Outlook.
  • Experience in working with an ERP system.
